ASK

Key verse: Romans 8:32 "He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?" Bright soul, how are you? You know, sometimes we give ourselves headaches over nothing, bothering about everything, overthinking then confused and wailing. The Bible tells us that we should cast our cares on Jesus—all of them!—because He cares for you. Imagine if your dad was Trump or even Dangote, would you have much to worry about? I'm sure you wouldn't. We have to understand that our Father in Heaven is the creator of heaven and the earth, He is the uncreated creator, we forget this at times and worry about everything. The instruction is to ASK! Matthew 7:7 enlightens us that if we ask we shall be given, not stressing our brains with worry(the key is to ask!). He gave His only begotten Son, there's nothing you'd ask that will ever be too big. It has not come to the imagination of man what God has in store for u...

“Don’t become partners with those who reject God. How can you make a partnership out of right and wrong? That’s not partnership; that’s war. Is light best friends with dark? ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭6:14-18‬ ‭MSG‬‬ Another version says not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, brethren, make a mental list of your five closest friends and assess their relationship with God, if it’s not worthy of emulation, you need a change of circle.  As a Christian, the same way we need food for nutrients for the human system, we need the Word of God to give nutrients to our spirits and apart from that, in our spiritual journey, we need godly friends that’ll be there to help us when we’re falling, friends that will support us and at the same time tell us when we’re not on the right track, friends that aren’t just there for the title or the good days or the clout. Having friends who hype you up is cool until you get into serious trouble and you need someone to pray for you, do you have those type ...

FORGIVENESS

When I was younger, I was bullied in the hands of my peers. And, although i was young, I had an understanding of what Christianity demanded, so i tried as much as possible to forgive every time I got bullied. However, there was an incident that occurred where my social and emotional state of mind was scarred. That day, after my ordeal, I remember raising my eyes to the sky and placing a very dumb but serious curse on the perpetrators. Of course, the Holy Spirit picked that moment to come and scold me. In the end, instead of me to be feeling anger at those people, I felt remorse for the fact that I had actually cursed- something I corrected others on doing all the time. For days, weeks, probably months, I forced myself to be able to look those bullies in the eye without itching to slap them. I learnt to forgive, and eventually forget. Yes, there are times when I remember the ordeal and I become a bit sad again, but i forgive those people again and again until the day I will feel no...

The Gospel🤍

Hey there, how’s it been going?  For me, I’ve just been moving with the Spirit of God, not like my spiritual life’s been perfect but each time I sin, I run back to the secret place.  God has been teaching me a lot these past few weeks and He’s been showing me a lot and helping me learn so so much and one thing I’ve come to have a deeper understanding of is that God loves us. I mean we hear Jesus loves you one too many times but I tell you a lot of us don’t fully comprehend that, Christ is intentional about each and every human, look at Luke 12: 6-7, your value before God my dear is incomprehensible. Psalms 82:6 and John 10:34 tell me that I am a god and so are you. Things don’t always go well for someone that truly identifies as a Christian (someone who has Christ in them), in fact as a Christian, it’s almost like you’re signing up for challenges, it’s kind of in the job description, but “No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to...

PRAYER WALL.(4)

It’s been 8 months already and we’ve come to the 9th, brethren, let’s connect to the triplicate division of the Holy Trinity and receive our blessings for this special month completely. Let’s also not forget to thank God for all He’s been doing in our lives and let’s remember that He has given us life and that life more abundantly, God bless us as we fellowship with God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit this month and beyond. 🤍~MWJ
