PEACE. (4)

Image
Friday 24th May, 2024 Text:  ‭Matthew 6:34 NIV‬ [34] Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. According to Oxford, Peace is freedom from disturbance. In Christendom, Peace means rest of mind even in the presence of war. In Matt. 6:34, Jesus told us that each day has its own challenges. Therefore, we should not worry because He is with us in every situation we face, whether good or bad. He will not leave us alone but ensure we overcome the challenge through His might and our submission to Him.  ‭Isaiah 43:1-2 NIV‬ [1] But now, this is what the Lord says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.  [2] When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you abl...

A Blessed Child

Image
Psalm 127:3-5 Blessed means divinely or happily favoured. It is used to describe something as being wonderful A child is a son or daughter of a parent. The Bible stated ways to be called blessed in Psalm 1:1-3 1. A man that walketh not in the counsel of the Ungodly. Taking a good look at Job, his wife told him to curse God. That was an ungodly counsel from his wife. Thank God he was able to resist, and we can the see the latter part of Job's life and how God blessed him. 2. A man that stands not in the way of the sinners. Proverbs 1:10 says "My son if sinners entice thee, consent though not". Judas Iscariot is a perfect example of this . He went away from the Lord's way, to the devil's way. At the end, with all the possession, he still died by commiting suicide 3. A man that doesn't sit in the seat of the scornful. Scorn is an attitude of no respect, and mockery. There is a saying "Respect is Reciprocal". If you respect people, you would be respecte...

Don’t You think Its High Time You Went to Church?

Image
Before you skip this post and say ‘’I don’t need to go to church to be a Christian” I want us to have a discussion. So, get relaxed let's dive into this topic together. As Christians, we hear about the importance of community and fellowshipping with Christians a lot, but what does it really mean to "fellowship with the brethren” as we’re instructed to do in Hebrews 10:25.  Well, let's unpack that a bit.  From the very beginning, God created us for relationship - relationship with Himself and with one another. In Genesis, God said it is not good for man to be alone (Genesis 2:18), and throughout the Bible, we're encouraged to love one another, bear one another's burdens, and spur one another on in faith. You've probably heard the phrase "iron sharpens iron" (Proverbs 27:17).  When we fellowship with other believers, we have the opportunity to sharpen and encourage one another in our walk with God. Whether it's through sharing insights from Scriptur...

You need to be F.A.T. for this journey!

Image
‭Zechariah 4:6 KJV‬ [6] Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.  From academics to career wise to marriage to posterity. There are inseparable qualities that must not be found lacking in an individual that wants to be extraordinary, a leader that wants to be phenomenal and respected. What is needed? F.A.T. You need to add more flesh if you want to be different, you can't run this race without this backing, in fact the man that God will use has to be F.A.T. What is the meaning of this? Faithful. Available. Teachable. Faithful. Are you trustworthy? Can someone give you a task with the assurance that it is already as good as done? Are you reliable? Are you responsible? Are you accountable for your words and actions? Are you a different person in the day and the night? Are you  Faithful? Are you Faithful to God and His will?  Available. It's ...
