‭Matthew 6:34 NIV‬

[34] Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.


According to Oxford, Peace is freedom from disturbance. In Christendom, Peace means rest of mind even in the presence of war.


In Matt. 6:34, Jesus told us that each day has its own challenges. Therefore, we should not worry because He is with us in every situation we face, whether good or bad. He will not leave us alone but ensure we overcome the challenge through His might and our submission to Him. 

‭Isaiah 43:1-2 NIV‬

[1] But now, this is what the Lord says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. 


[2] When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.


In conclusion, irrespective of the issues we go through as children of God, let us endeavour that we table them to God and proclaim His word in the situation because He honours His Word more than His name.

I’m going to be real with you, being patient is hard. Whether it’s waiting for a text back, sitting in Lagos traffic, dealing with slow internet speed, or wondering when life will finally make sense, patience is one of those things we all wish we had but don’t enjoy developing. And yet, it’s a Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Meaning, it’s something God expects to grow in us, not something we magically wake up with. But how do you stay patient when everything around you screams, “Do it now! Get it now! Why are you waiting?!” Why Do We Even Need Patience? Everyone was made beautiful, irrespective of the world's standard of beauty. At times, we might feel that we weren't created to our taste.
