I AM NOT OVERWHELMED!

Isaiah‬ ‭41:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

[10] Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. 


Have you ever been frustrated and even devastated because you were not able to meet up to deadlines or because you were not able to meet up to the standards that you have prescribed for yourself or others have prescribed for you?


I'm sure I have been there and the majority of us as well. Sometimes we have engagements, meetings that are contemporaneous and it stresses us and we realise that desire without foresight will not equip us adequately for the journey ahead.


The scripture is admonishing you not to fear because God is with you! He assures you that He is God and He will give you strength, strength to do all things that are expedient for the fulfillment of your goal in this life. He will help and uphold you with the right hand of His righteousness.


Aren't you excited?


You are brave, beautiful and bold but darling, you can't do everything by yourself, You need the Vine.

‭‭John‬ ‭15:5‬ ‭TPT‬‬

[5] “I am the sprouting vine and you’re my branches.    As you live in union with me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you—but when you live separated from me you are powerless.  


Have you handed Him the reins of your life? Do you have your life all planned out independent of what God has for you? ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭19:21‬ ‭KJV‬‬ says:

[21]  There are many devices in a man's heart; Nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.


So brethren, trust in the Lord, lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and surely He will direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6).


May we find balance in Christ Jesus and may the joy of the Lord continually be our strength. Amen.

I’m going to be real with you, being patient is hard. Whether it’s waiting for a text back, sitting in Lagos traffic, dealing with slow internet speed, or wondering when life will finally make sense, patience is one of those things we all wish we had but don’t enjoy developing. And yet, it’s a Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Meaning, it’s something God expects to grow in us, not something we magically wake up with.
