For The Awakening Mind.

-Your righteousness is not by works. Stop thinking what you do is enough to get you into heaven. What do you believe, sir? What do you believe, ma?  Do you stick to those beliefs with all your mind, soul, body and spirit?  Or are you a ‘Sunday to Wednesday to Sunday’ Christian who thinks going for weekday programmes will cause God to give you special spot in heaven though you have private sins?  Stop deceiving yourself, respectfully speaking. Go and ask for forgiveness, and do the needful. Yearn for God Himself, and make Him the Centre of your universe. The Master of your universe.  -Jesus is not just your Lord and Personal Saviour. He’s your Friend. A Friend that’s closer than a brother.  I was once in that position where I held Jesus in such high esteem where it seemed that talking to Him as though He was right beside me was an insult to His majesty.  But, dear reader, it is not. He wants fellowship, and you don’t always have to be on your knees with your...

FAITH(2)

TEXT: Hebrews 4:2 For we have heard the Good News, just as they did. They heard the message, but it did them no good, because when they heard it, they did not accept it with Faith. Faith is focusing on God above the challenges having in mind that there is a better place( Heaven) waiting for us and this(Earth) is not our home. At times, we forget the purpose why we were created by God.  Ecclesiastes 12:13 [13]Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. We were created to obey and fear the Lord even in the midst of trouble. We are in the era where some have the believe that it is impossible to live holy, but that is not true. And example is Enoch, who walked with God.Gen 5:24 24)He spent his life in fellowship with God, and then he disappeared, because God took him away. This tells that we can live holy but we need Faith. There are a lot of things Faith can take us to but are we ready to focus on God above th...

Give me this mountain!

Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the LORD spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakims were there, and that the cities were great and fenced: if so be the LORD will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as the LORD said. Joshua 14:12 KJV When God says a thing, He is faithful and able to do it but there are prerequisites for God to fulfill His side of the bargain. God gave Caleb inheritance because he wholly followed the Lord. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah 29:11 KJV The product cannot survive out of the will of the manufacturer's agenda and plan. Therefore, we cannot survive, or thrive, out of God's plan. You are wonderfully and fearfully made by God and we have to be in line with God's agenda. God is faithful to that which has been committed to Him. He cannot lie. We are to hold Him by His word. You must understand that i...

Trusting God's Plan: Perseverance in the Face of Adversity

One thing that's very true and hard to accept is that life is full of challenges, and at times, the road ahead may seem uncertain and overwhelming. As believers, we are called to trust God and not give up, even when faced with trials and hardships. But let's be honest it's not as easy as it sounds.  In this discussion, we will explore the significance of trusting in God's unwavering love and divine guidance, and how perseverance plays a vital role in our journey of faith. Understanding that God is in control of all circumstances can be both comforting and challenging. Some might call it "an emotional rollercoaster". Embracing the truth that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9) allows us to surrender our fears and uncertainties, knowing that He holds the entire universe in His hands. I mean if the entire universe is under His control, there's no situation too big for him to solve or get rid off. Another key point most christians tend to forget is tha...
