FAITH(2)

TEXT: Hebrews 4:2

For we have heard the Good News, just as they did. They heard the message, but it did them no good, because when they heard it, they did not accept it with Faith.


Faith is focusing on God above the challenges having in mind that there is a better place( Heaven) waiting for us and this(Earth) is not our home.


At times, we forget the purpose why we were created by God. 

Ecclesiastes 12:13

[13]Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

We were created to obey and fear the Lord even in the midst of trouble. We are in the era where some have the believe that it is impossible to live holy, but that is not true. And example is Enoch, who walked with God.Gen 5:24

24)He spent his life in fellowship with God, and then he disappeared, because God took him away.


This tells that we can live holy but we need Faith. There are a lot of things Faith can take us to but are we ready to focus on God above the challenges?

I’m going to be real with you, being patient is hard. Whether it’s waiting for a text back, sitting in Lagos traffic, dealing with slow internet speed, or wondering when life will finally make sense, patience is one of those things we all wish we had but don’t enjoy developing. And yet, it’s a Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Meaning, it’s something God expects to grow in us, not something we magically wake up with. But how do you stay patient when everything around you screams, “Do it now! Get it now! Why are you waiting?!” Why Do We Even Need Patience? Patience isn’t just about sitting still and waiting, it’s about trusting God’s timing when things aren’t going our way. Think about Abraham. Everyone was made beautiful, irrespective of the world's standard of beauty. Psalms 139:14 [14]I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. At times, we might feel that we weren't created to our taste.
