What is Prayer?


Prayer is known to be communication between individual(s) and God.

We are commanded by Jesus Christ to pray always. Therefore, we should not be tired of praying as 1st Thessalonians 5:17 tells us to pray without ceasing.



There are many factors that influence people's decision to not pray. It could be that they feel discouraged because their prayers are yet to be answered. While this might be enough to cause discouragement for some, we should always have in mind that God has different ways of answering prayers. It could be 'No' 'Yes' or 'Wait'. All these are answers and are for your benefits. In addition, you should be patient and obedient to His word while you pray.


In conclusion:

 Communicate with God always and not only when you need things from Him. Take some time to communicate with God today and always remember that He listens.

I’m going to be real with you, being patient is hard. Whether it’s waiting for a text back, sitting in Lagos traffic, dealing with slow internet speed, or wondering when life will finally make sense, patience is one of those things we all wish we had but don’t enjoy developing. And yet, it’s a Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Meaning, it’s something God expects to grow in us, not something we magically wake up with.
