Patience (Not Ozokwor)
I’m going to be real with you, being patient is hard. Whether it’s waiting for a text back, sitting in Lagos traffic, dealing with slow internet speed, or wondering when life will finally make sense, patience is one of those things we all wish we had but don’t enjoy developing. And yet, it’s a Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Meaning, it’s something God expects to grow in us, not something we magically wake up with. But how do you stay patient when everything around you screams, “Do it now! Get it now! Why are you waiting?!” Why Do We Even Need Patience? Patience isn’t just about sitting still and waiting, it’s about trusting God’s timing when things aren’t going our way. Think about Abraham. God promised him descendants as numerous as the stars (Genesis 15:5), but he had to wait 25 years before Isaac was born.
