A Reflection to Ponder

Image
I still recall the time I saw a bird mistake a colored clothespin for a flower in my backyard. Looking back, it confirms that truly, not everything is as it seems. It is my prayer for you, dear reader, that the good Lord will grant you clarity in all your endeavors. A Scripture to Consider In this edition, we shall reflect on 1 Samuel 3:7, which states: "Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord, neither was the word of the Lord yet revealed to him." This verse baffled me, as Samuel had been raised in close proximity to Eli, a priest who mentored him. Samuel was literally raised in the tabernacle. However, considering his youth at the time makes this verse more understandable. A Prayerful Desire I encourage you to discuss this scripture with Abba in prayer. May it be your heart's desire this season to know the Lord intimately and have His word revealed to you.

God

Text: Genesis 1:1 KJV [1]In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. According to the text, God is the Creator. He made all things in a  perfect manner. He created humans in His own image. Everyone was made beautiful, irrespective of the world's standard of beauty. Psalms 139:14 [14]I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. At times, we might feel that we weren't created to our taste. You know what I mean, some of the times, we wish we were taller, had a better body physique and all.  I just want you to know that God, the Greatest One, created you in the best way. Therefore, appreciate your beauty and love yourself. God is a good God that He created man in His own likeness, knowing fully well that He is the most beautiful One. Isn't that wonderful ? Henceforth, whenever we look at ourselves, let's appreciate God for who He is by admitting and confessing that He is our Creator. H...

The True Meaning of Love

Date: 14th February, 2025 Topic: The True meaning of Love. Text: John 3:16, Matthew 22:39 It's that time of year again when we say love is in the air. Yes, it's Valentine's Day! A day when people set aside time to exchange gifts, write heartfelt messages, share flowers, and spend special moments with their loved ones to celebrate affection and companionship. However, for some, this day brings feelings of sadness, loneliness, or pressure. Some may feel left out because they haven't received a gift, while others may rush into relationships just to have someone to celebrate with. But let me remind you, love is much deeper than a single day of gifts and romantic gestures. My Dearest, have you ever paused to reflect on the greatest love of all? A love that goes beyond human affection, one that remains constant no matter the season? There is someone who has loved you even before you took your first breath. He loved you even when you made mistakes, when you felt unworthy, and...

Is anything too hard?

Luke 1:37 A commissioner had a son (Tobi) who attends a primary school. One day rain fell, and Tobi's teacher was drenched by the rain. When his teacher entered the classroom soaked, he asked his teacher why he was soaked. Tobi's teacher told him that he was drenched by the rain. Tobi asked his teacher, Don't you have a car?  His teacher said he doesn't have a car. Tobi told his teacher that he will tell his daddy to get his teacher one car.  The commissioner got the teacher a car after Tobi disturbed him. Tobi was always willing to boast, and talk about his father because he knew what his father could do. As a Child of God, we need learn how to intercede for people. Talk to God about someone. Pray for the person. This life should not be for competition, it should be for transformation. Also, you know what your father in heaven can do, learn to talk about it just like the little boy. The fact is that the he spoke about his earthly father with so much boldness. How muc...
