Score Yourself.

In about four weeks, we'd be saying goodbye to 2024. And I want to believe I don't speak for myself when I say it's been one heck of a ride.

Perhaps we say that for all the years as they come and go, but surely there's this uniqueness that comes with each of them. 2020 was a forced holiday for me (and everyone in the world😂) while 2023 was full of exploration. To me, they each vary in the various events I experience during their period.

2024 was (and still is, for now) a whirlwind of various emotions, and a period of personal development. I prayed more than I've ever prayed this year, I studied the word too, I involved God a whole lot more this year...spiritually, I'd say my walk with God this year was really productive, or at least developing.

So, how about you?

What were your plans for 2024? Did you achieve some of them? Most of them? All of them? None of them?

Sit down and score yourself. The areas you mentioned you needed to work on, were you able to deal with them? Did you start a business? Overcome your fear?

It is important we do this, so that apart from knowing what we did wrong or what we should have done better, we can also give ourselves high fives for the things we did right and extremely well. With a proper evaluation of the year, we can go into 2025 with another plan for the year using the template gotten from 2024.

However, as we do so, the most important thing in the new year is that we continue to love the Lord (Joshua 23:11). We cannot do this life without Him, and we must stick to Him no matter what.

God bless you as you do so, and I sincerely pray to see you in the new year!
