Well hello there, this is a check-in from MWJ but also to MWJ, last week the message was to score ourselves but today the message is to prepare for the coming year, those plans you failed to accomplish, prepare yourself to get them next year (might I also add that you still can get them this year, a lot can happen in 18 days), but don’t just put goals down, create systems, break the goals and visions down into methods, practicable methods.

Now while we prepare for the new year, let’s not forget to stay our minds on the reason for the season, Jesus, let’s eat, make merry, have fun but let’s also not get carried away and forget that the reason we’re celebrating is because a Saviour was born to us, we have a Saviour, my King, your King, our King Jesus.

I’m going to be real with you, being patient is hard. Whether it’s waiting for a text back, sitting in Lagos traffic, dealing with slow internet speed, or wondering when life will finally make sense, patience is one of those things we all wish we had but don’t enjoy developing. And yet, it’s a Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Meaning, it’s something God expects to grow in us, not something we magically wake up with.
