MWJ Check-in.

Image
Greetings child of God,  I looked out of one of the windows of my house and on our orange clothesline was a bird trying to get nectar from a pink colored clothespin. I was fascinated, it kept on trying until it gave up. This can mean something different to each of us but today, I would like this to be a reminder to each of us to always acknowledge our Heavenly Father in all our ways. Like that bird, we may be carried away by our own convictions that won’t turn out the way we expected it to. Howdy brethren, how do you do? Hope we’re all getting into the Easter season. Do well to send me an email, it’d be lovely to hear from you.

Prayer wall.(10)

It’s another time to come humbly before our Maker in the place of prayer, if you have prayer requests, feel free to send to my email so we can agree together. God bless us as we pray ceaselessly!❤️

Greetings child of God, We shall begin this edition with a question. To those who watch movies just once, how do you do it? Folks, there are some things that you just wouldn't percept or understand until maybe the third time. I recently revisited a sermon after a couple of months and I can assure you that a new wave of understanding struck me. It is also the same with the word of the Lord. I have heard of persons who say; "Oh my God! This is the third time I have read this chapter and I didn't realize this". Anyways, just putting this out there folks. Please, see that movie a second time at least, so you'd get the references.🤭 Now, to take a huge bite from the cookie, we will be reviewing some lessons from the book of Leviticus. The book of Leviticus is honestly not the most exciting book in the Bible to study for many reasons, for one; it has few stories. But if you bravely see it through to the end, it is rewarding. Now, we have the Israelites whom the Lord l...

HE CARES

Image
I will like you to use a minute of your time and Repeat the words HE CARES ! Say it well enough for you to realize that God truly cares. Yes dear, God truly cares. I know times may come where you begin to doubt if truly He exists. You may even be going through something right now and you are questioning why does all this have to happen. Before you go deep let's read some scriptures Jer.1.5 - Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations . Meditate well on this verse. God is the one talking here and He said before He formed you, He already knew you. And we say He is the beginning and the end right? That also implies that God knows all about your beginning and your end even before He formed you. Isn't that amazing? Now let's look at another scripture Deut.31.8 - And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither fo...

PRIDE.

Image
There’s a verse in the Bible (James 4:6) that says, “God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble”. Quite frankly, that’s a terrible verse, no matter how simple it sounds when reading it. And why’s that?  Well, it is often said that being separated from God is basically hell on earth. So if God should be the one to resist us Himself, that’s Him stepping back from the very people He wishes to be close to. And that’s detrimental to our lives because we are to always be constantly connected to Him.  There are various forms in which Pride can come. It’s not just Impoliteness or Egotism. It could also come in form of worry. The Bible in Matt. 6:25 says that we should not be anxious about our lives, and it was quite recently that another interpretation was revealed through a teaching. The preacher said that being worried was synonymous to denying the existence of God our Strength. In other words, being worried about something could be us saying that we’re in charge of our liv...
