Peace, brethren, the type of peace that God gives is not the type that comes with situations, it’s not the type that’s all about absence of war or discomfort, matter of fact it’s the type you feel in the midst of the discomfort or difficult situation. 

Today, I’m sent by God to remind you of Jesus’ parting gift, peace He leaves with you, His peace He gives to you, He doesn’t give as the world gives, do not fear, do not be anxious, do not be intimidated, He’s in your boat.

Whatever it is life has thrown at you this time, His peace is here for you and I. Accept it!

I pray that the peace of God dwells in our heart iJN!

I’m going to be real with you, being patient is hard. Whether it’s waiting for a text back, sitting in Lagos traffic, dealing with slow internet speed, or wondering when life will finally make sense, patience is one of those things we all wish we had but don’t enjoy developing. And yet, it’s a Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Meaning, it’s something God expects to grow in us, not something we magically wake up with.
