Submission.

‘If life was based on feelings, there’d be no one on earth’. Do you agree with that statement?  For real though, let’s think about it. How many times have we felt betrayed, disappointed, angered, frustrated, mentally unstable (even if it was for five minutes😂), sad, despondent- generally done with life?  Someone’s probably looking back now and thinking about the fact that he/she experienced that less than three minutes ago.  And now, look. We’re still alive, despite the fact that we felt we were done with life.  This simple analogy pretty much proves the accuracy of that statement. Just because we feel a certain way doesn’t mean we need to dwell continuously in that feeling or emotion. Sadness? Identity crisis? Pleasure? Euphoria?  Yes, these feelings have an impact on our lives, even if it’s for a brief moment. But that doesn’t mean we should let them rule the way we walk with God in our daily lives. For example, just because a married woman or a girl in a com...

Letting Go and Letting God

Today, we're diving into the wonderful world of forgiveness. Yep, we know, it's not always the easiest thing to do, but best believe, it's totally worth it. Let's explore this concept together, with some help from the Bible. Forgiveness: What's the Big Deal? Forgiveness is like a superpower that God has given us. It's the key to maintaining great relationships, finding peace, and it's super important in our Christian journey.  The Ultimate Role Model Who better to learn from than Jesus himself? In Matthew 6:14-15, Jesus says, "For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." In other words, forgiving others is a direct path to receiving God's forgiveness. Pretty cool, right? Why is Forgiving So Hard? Let's be real, forgiving isn't always a walk in the park. But don't worry, you're not alone...

What's in a name?

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children." Hosea 4:6 KJV Text: "And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested." 1 Chronicles 4:9‭-‬10 KJV A name is defined as any nounal word or phrase which indicates a particular person, place, class, or thing. Your name identifies you in nature, character, reputation and abilities; It has everything to do with you. Your name imparts your life's journey and works for you. Naming of an infant is done on the 8th da...

FAR BEYOND

Text: Ephesians 3:20 Today's topic is made up of two words which are: Far , and Beyond. Far means at, or to a great distance in space or time. Beyond means on, or to the farther part or side. According to the text for today, we can see that God has the power to do anything. Even Luke 1:37 stated it clearly. Some times, we imagine if God is still at work in our lives, because of what we are passing through. Do not forget what Psalm 30:5b says Weeping may endure for the night, but joy cometh in the morning .   There is no doubt that gloomy days will come, but the question is what is God saying about it? God does things far beyond our imagination. Take a look at the children of Israel when they were about to cross the Red sea, who would have thought a rod was going to part the sea.  Or who would have thought that dry bones would come to life again. When God does things, he does them perfect.  This is a challenge to us to never allow your situation control you, instea...
