‘If life was based on feelings, there’d be no one on earth’. Do you agree with that statement? For real though, let’s think about it. How many times have we felt betrayed, disappointed, angered, frustrated, mentally unstable (even if it was for five minutes😂), sad, despondent- generally done with life? Someone’s probably looking back now and thinking about the fact that he/she experienced that less than three minutes ago. And now, look. We’re still alive, despite the fact that we felt we were done with life. This simple analogy pretty much proves the accuracy of that statement. Just because we feel a certain way doesn’t mean we need to dwell continuously in that feeling or emotion. Sadness? Identity crisis? Pleasure? Euphoria? Yes, these feelings have an impact on our lives, even if it’s for a brief moment. But that doesn’t mean we should let them rule the way we walk with God in our daily lives.
