One, two, three, four.
“Petrichor” is the smell of the earth when rain falls on dry ground. Taking a lungful of that air is as exciting as opening a present and not knowing what lies within or a fresh canvas waiting to be given expression.
In a couple of hours, it’ll be a new week and here are four things to be reminded of:
1. Watch your self closely
Are there some things that have totally become a part of you that is wrong but makes you comfortable wallowing in sin?
2. Thoughts¿
What kind of thoughts consume your mind? What are you constantly brooding on? This new week and beyond remember what the word of God says in the book of Philippians chapter four verse eight; “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is admirable- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy- think about such things.” NIV
3. Waiting on Abba
It cannot have been a stroll in the park or strawberry fields forever for Abraham or Joseph and so many other biblical characters to have held on to Abba’s promise even when it seemed impossible. But they did it.They waited on Him. They drew strength from Him and you can too.
4. The Word
Have you ever been on your phone for two hours and the moment you open your bible your eyelids are drooping? That’s something very relatable. I urge you to take personal bible study to the next level. I recommend getting the book “sturdy” by Idy Archibong. I assure you that you’ll be seeing personal bible study through a different lens.
With love,
MWJ.
Thank you.
