RETREAT

The scripture records that Jesus got away from the crowd and disconnected to have authentic fellowship with Abba.

While in order to edify our spirits we could listen to gospel music, read christian articles……….it should not be our primary source to draw from His throne of grace neither should it be our primary source to gain knowledge of Him or to know Him. When we follow the footsteps of Jesus in this particular regard, for one we will be able to discern with clarity what He has called us.

There’s no no rigid structure or pattern one should follow, it could be a thirty minute uninterrupted stroll when you speak to Abba and most importantly listening to Him speak as well or it could be a longer time duration in another different situation or scenario.

What really matters is that there shouldn’t be distractions and of course your heart is in focus.
