WISDOM

Key verse:

Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: And with all thy getting get understanding.

Proverbs 4:7 KJV

Wisdom is the ability to discern the truth in every circumstance, the ability to make the right choice among alternatives, the possession of knowledge and the capacity to make good use of the same.

Wisdom is listening to God and doing it. Wisdom is discipline. Don't choose to settle for the ephemeral things of the world, choose to listen to the Word of God.

Wisdom is from God 

"…but unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God."

1 Corinthians 1:24 KJV

We should be wise about the things we say, bearing in mind that words carry weight; about our actions; our reactions.

What are the benefits?

1) It's a great gain!

2) Wisdom increases learning. Proverbs 1:5

3) Wisdom is a defence. Ecclesiastes 2:13

4) Wisdom is profitable to direct

You must first desire it;

Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh And intermeddleth with all wisdom.

Proverbs 18:1 KJV

Buy the truth, and sell it not; Also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.

Proverbs 23:23 KJV

You would have to

be discreet; decipher and decode; be properly behaved; paying attention to reproof; learn, unlearn and relearn.

In conclusion, if you need wisdom, why don't you ask from the One will gives it freely?

‘If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.’

James 1:5 KJV
