Peace!–a Fruit of the Spirit.

Key verse: Hebrews 12:14

"Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:"

KJV

Peace is the absence of war, quarrel, sorrow. Peace is a quality, a capacity! You have to be closely knitted to the Lord Jesus Christ(Isaiah 9:6 The Prince of Peace!) The peace of God removes fear from our hearts.

You must pursue peace if you want to make heaven. Don't overate yourself when it comes to building capacity for peaceful living, the thing is that you cannot choose your neighbours.

The people God placed around you is to train you and you are in the lives of other people to train them as well.

Galatians 5:22

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,…"

KJV

The Fruit of the Spirit (a package of what is inside of you), peace is a manifestation of the Fruit of the Spirit. The attitude you portray is from the people you interact with, the Bible says, "Evil communication corrupts good manners." You ought to know how to relate as the Bible urges us to be at peace with all men. Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the sons of God.

The Bible goes further to say that there is no peace for the wicked.

How do I attain this peace?

Proverbs 16:7

"When a man's ways please the LORD, He maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him."

KJV

Pleasing God is a prerequisite. Genuine peace, trusting peace, lasting peace, comes from God. The only peace you can enjoy is from God.

You don't have to wait for people that offend you to apologize first(Philippians 3:12), live holy(I Thessalonians 4:3), study the Law of God (Joshua 1:8), do good (Psalms 34:14), Pray for peace (Isaiah 6:3).

John 16:33

"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."

KJV

Philippians 4:7

"And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

KJV

Amen.
