WHO ARE YOU?(2) (GOD’S OWN IMAGE.)

    Too often in life we measure ourselves by what others have to say about us, have we ever asked ourselves 'what does God really say about me?'  There was a time in my life when I really had concerns about what others thought of me. This fear negatively affected my confidence in myself and abilities. 

 When we don't know who we truly are, we get easily written off even by the people we trust. Knowing this I had to come out of my shell and realize myself in Christ Jesus ie the Word of God. You know what you see is what you get, so I began to see myself in the Image of God with Faith. The fact that God has authority over everything,  I began to speak life giving words, filled with wisdom I began seeing myself as one, professing positive words to myself daily.

 Because I am born of God I believed I have the right to have the qualities of Christ in me and so can you. How we see ourselves makes all the difference in whether we are successful in life or not. If we view ourselves as inferior, a failure or unqualified we will never get far in life. I will love to ask you this question:

WHOSE IMAGE ARE YOU?

I’m going to be real with you, being patient is hard. Whether it’s waiting for a text back, sitting in Lagos traffic, dealing with slow internet speed, or wondering when life will finally make sense, patience is one of those things we all wish we had but don’t enjoy developing. And yet, it’s a Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Meaning, it’s something God expects to grow in us, not something we magically wake up with.
