JUDAS
When Judas, the traitor learnt that Jesus had been condemned, he repented and took back the 30 silver coins to the Chief Priest and the elders. Matthew 27: 3(GOOD NEWS BIBLE).
So many lessons are to be learnt from the story of Judas Iscariot, let’s look into some.
1. Take a look at greed; Although this story(Jesus' resurrection) was bound(sure) to happen, we shouldn't let what we love dismiss the position of God in our lives because it can't do more than what God does!!!!!
2. In Matthew 27:4, Judas went to return the 30 silver coins to the Chief Priest and the Elders when he realized that what he did wasn't right. Therefore, we should always be truthful. It was a bold step for Judas to return the coins to the Chief Priest and the elders. We should always pray for the boldness to stand for God.
3. Judas didn't only realize his fault but also took action to show that he was sorry by returning the coins. Not every one that realizes their faults are sorry!!! And this isn't godly.
4. Our lives belong to God so we shouldn't decide to take the life given to us by God as Judas(Matt. 27:5) did which is a sin. No matter what you face taking your life is not the solution!!
5. Be free to ask God for forgiveness even when you feel that your sin is unforgivable. HE is ever ready to forgive you as far as you don't take HIM for granted and provided that you repent genuinely (truly).
CONCLUSION:- Don't take yours/someone else's life as a result of what you go through because it NEVER solves the problem but could add to it.
Why don't you go to the PROBLEM SOLVER(GOD) who has a solution to all problems and can give victory over all challenges?????
God bless you.
