THAT HOLD.

Most of the time, as Christians, we tend to drift. Our environment seems to draw us either closer or further from God. Most times, however, we usually drift further from Him. We get choked up with the things of this earth and our mind gets clouded with unneeded materials...*sigh*...everything just seems to go wrong at that point in your walk with God.

But, there's always this...HOLD. That feeling that you belong somewhere but you're not there or the feeling whereby you're meant to feel full of some particular energy (you just can't explain it), but instead you feel like an empty sack two small children are trying desperately hard to blow air into.

That Hold, is the indication of a mark that God has given you. It verifies your Christianity, and seeks to pull you back to God to restore that broken connection. It's always there, at the back of your mind, etched on your heart. "Something's missing".

Now, most people (I'm included in this category) will know what is missing: their regular communication with God; but they wouldn't know how they should take the first step. Trust me, they know the steps from A to whatever alphabet in whatever language you are referring to, but to take the first one is a huge issue. They'd much rather be stuck where they are than "embarrass" themselves in God's presence. Pride is one of the reasons for this, and remember, God hates it. So I asked God to help me come back to Him. Weird prayer, but I reasoned that I shouldn't allow my pride take the best of me, and at the point I didn't even know how to pray correctly. So I said it like that.

Believing that the Holy Spirit had said it, I began to play gospel music. And as if there was a switch in me, I suddenly felt...free. I felt wonderful. I felt like I was connecting back to my Creator. And from that first step, others seemed so easy.

Whenever you realize that you're moving away, do everything to get back. Because the longer you're away, the harder it will be to reattach the plug. The first step is most advisable to be prayer. It is the basic internet site for reaching God's presence. After that, you could read Christian books (not novels, mind you. Books that speak on the Trinity, Christianity as a whole and all that e.g. "Are We Flammable or Fireproof?" "The Art of Prayer", worship God with gospel music, or just sit and continue to converse with your Father in prayer.

I read a book on Wattpad once, "Expiration Date". In that book, everyone was given a mark on their arms, telling when they would die. A certain girl ended up defying fate, but her Mark would begin to burn badly whenever she was near the originators of those Marks.

What am I driving at?

We have all been given a Mark by God.

"Let no man trouble me, for I bear in my body the mark of the Lord Jesus Christ".

We have a mark that separates us from the rest of the world as God's children.

When we're far from God, our mark starts to itch badly. We feel restless every time. There's a lack of inner peace as we know it. We have to reconnect.

We need to know that being connected to God should be our main goal every second of our lives. We should continually bask in His presence.

His mark is on us, and the moment it starts itching, we should know we've done something wrong. Run back to Abba. Remember, the end time is near. At this point, all efforts should be made so that we will not be left behind. Now that you have the mark of Jesus Christ, use it to full advantage.

May God help you in all aspects in Jesus name.
