 Good day one and all, I’m here to be a reminder to us. Some of us have gotten so caught up in doctrine, gotten so caught up in the beliefs of our elders(not that that’s wrong) that we have forgotten that our God is a living God. You that’s reading this, when was the last time you communicated with God with the consciousness that He’s hearing you, that’s He’s right in the room with you? Sometimes I’m guilty of it, I pray because I’m supposed to, I mean I know He hears me so I’m praying to Him hoping that I see results soon but I forget that He is alive and He’s all about the relationship. (Zechariah 2:10) I don’t know where you are in your walk with God, I don’t know what you need answers to but I want you to go to God with the consciousness that He is, that He exists and is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.( Hebrews 11:6)  God is still the God of the Bible, He still talks to people, He still listens.   Just like the rest of the Bible, Matthew chapter 14 brings us the truth, not something based on a true story but THE TRUTH. The book of Matthew chapter 14 opens our eyes to a lot of lessons but I would like to highlight just two from the lot. For the point to be perfectly driven home, one actually has to study the said chapter and book. Herod the tetrach got together with the wife of his brother and John the Baptist confronted him about it and told him it wasn’t right. Herod the tetrach was not pleased about this, in fact he was so mad that he actually wanted to have John the Baptist killed- he did eventually. The point is, John the Baptist did the right thing even though it most definitely wasn’t easy. Sometimes, wrong doings may be happening right under our noses, but we say nothing and keep to ourselves because it’s easier. It may be breaking a teeny tiny rule and we talk ourselves out of saying something by thinking stuff like, ”it’s not like they’re killing anybody“. But jus...

Several times I can be in a state of worry. So many things going through my mind, figuring ways to sort them myself.   And when anxiety steps in, one’s joy is being replaced with sadness which can lead to depression, and other mental issues and the end result can be Suicide. Now when you are afraid or worried, or anxious the Action you take to that Reaction really matters.  Are you going to continue to dwell in that reason/ problem of the worry or will you take out measures on how to come out of it? For instance when a man is unemployed will he continue lamenting over his lack of job or will he go looking for something much more better to do or start doing a skill? Now what are you backing your Action with? God is not only concerned with meeting your needs, He also wants you to tell Him how you feel.  So my dearest even in your darkest moment, you aren't alone. Don't stay there worried or being anxious over nothing tell it to God in prayer for He hears you when you call u...

And so it happens again, the weekend is here. Another long awaited time to unwind and relax.  Thank God for how far technology has come. Today, one has the opportunity to join virtual prayer rooms and pray together with other people without distance being a barrier and all that.  And this weekend, you have the opportunity to send in your prayer requests ( Hint; you can make them vague).
