Accountability

Key Verse: Matthew 25:23 "His Lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord." Accountability is the condition of being accountable. A combination of account and ability, the ability to give a report and account for your activities. It is the concept of answerability of an individual.  It is focusing on the major so that you can deal with the minor. It is also the state of being liable and responsible. The way you live your life is an act of accountability to God.  The Bible tells us that one day we would give account of ourselves. John 9:4 says: "I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work." KJV God expects us to take account of so many things. We are to seek God to know His will and priority for our lives. Anything you do is part of your flock. You have to give account where you have...

Light.

“The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭22‬ ‭NIV‬‬ Good day brethren, first of all, I’d like you to think about this scripture, what does it mean to you? To me, the way it’s interpreted, the eye is what gives access to the body, what enters your body starts with what you see first and this is not talking about food. A lot of people complain about toxicity, depression etc but why is that? The Bible says the eyes are a window for the body, what we take in edifies us, you listen to scriptures and edifying content and it reflects in your life, you take in unscriptural content and it reflects also. You can’t be complaining about feeling sad constantly and fueling yourself with sad songs or feeling insecure when we spend all our time looking at the world-approved public figures, the thing about comparison is that it makes you forget where you are and think less of yourself or makes you forget how you got somewhere an...

ARE YOU FOR GOD?

Ephesians 6:10-18 We all know that there are two kingdoms which are the kingdom of God, and the kingdom of darkness. We also know that there are two spirits which are the holy spirit, and the evil spirit, and all of these have their own master. These two are just looking for one thing, which is the soul of men. You can't serve two masters, neither can you be hot and cold at the same time. When you say you are on God's side, you do whatsoever that please him. For instances:  1. Reading and meditating on God's word. Joshua 1:8 2. Praying and fasting 3. Preaching the gospel. Mark 16:15 4. Living a sinless life by walking with God. Genesis 17:1. Let the devil know that you are on God's side by proving it, and not just by saying it alone. Act on these❣️

Leaning on God: The Source of Strength and Sustenance

Bible Text: "The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the strength of my salvation, and my stronghold." - Psalm 18:2 (NLT) As human beings, we often face trials and tribulations in life that can leave us feeling weak, vulnerable, and hopeless. It is during these times that we need to lean on God the most. He is our rock, our fortress, and our savior. He is the one who can provide us with the strength and sustenance that we need to overcome any obstacle that comes our way. When we lean on God, we allow Him to be our strong tower, our shelter in the storm. Just like a tower that provides shelter from the storm, God is the one who can protect us from the storms of life. When we lean on Him, we are placing our trust and faith in Him, knowing that He is the one who can see us through even the toughest of times. When we lean on God, we allow Him to be the source of our strength and sustenance. He is the one who ...
