ACTIONS

Hi! Has someone made you smile today? Now, some people might say yes, and some might say no. Either way, it's cool. If you haven't smiled today, you will later. By God's grace.  But there's a bigger question: Have YOU made someone smile today? Think about it.  Majority of the time, we seek for happiness in our daily lives...which is good, don't feel bad about it.  But we forget the fact that our happiness, most times, is derived from what others do for us.  Now, if we take a cue from what Jesus says in one of the gospel, we are to love our neighbours just as we love ourselves Matt. 22:39. We should want to see them smile just as we want to.  That being said, what have you done today? Made someone sad, or made someone glad? Spoken ill of someone, or praised someone? Your actions can actually make or mar the lives of people, so please, be careful of what you say or do.  It's important because we are the epistles others are reading . Everything we do matters, ...

THE BUCKET OF ICE EFFECT.

Hey you, this author wants you to imagine how you feel when you realize that you have to do one thing or the other or else you're done for. A good example is when you just realized that,"whoah, I actually have to study for this examination or else I'm back right where I started." I like to call it the bucket of ice effect. Here are three things I want to have a lasting bucket of ice effect on you this week and beyond. 1. You are loved That word is being thrown around lightly nowadays and you may have forgotten about the certainty that you are loved by God. Psalm 105: 3a "Be glad that you are His." Have you ever realized that His love for you is very far stretched and non selective? As in if you were the only one on the earth, do you realize that Jesus would still come for you? 2. Feeding on His word The importance of reading the bible cannot be overemphasised. You actually need His word to know Him, grow and become transformed. Do you remember how Jesus reac...

Your call.

He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” ‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15&16 Hey there believer, most times we hear about how Jesus is going to come for His people, how God’s people will go and live with Him in heaven but there’s more to it. Did you know that when Jesus comes back, one either goes to heaven or hell, if one misses heaven, one definitely can’t miss hell…. It’s totally your call whether or not you want to be with God or not, with the help of the Holy Spirit you need to dedicate your life to living for Christ and doing right by Him. Revelation 16:15, we have to be vigilant because we do not know when Jesus will come. 2 Peter 3:10 James 4:13-15; brethren we don’t know how much time we have left. Obadiah 1:15 Sometimes I think my sins are so much and God is tired of me but read John 8:11. 1 John 1:9 lets us know about God’s merciful nature. Psalm 24:3...

EVER BY YOUR SIDE!

Bible Text : Psalm 139: 7-10 7.Whither shall I go from thy spirit? Or whither shall I flee from thy presence? 8. If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: If I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. 9. If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea. 10. Even there shall thy hand lead me, And thy right hand shall hold me. Psalm 139:7-10 KJV Message: Like all other Psalms, Psalm 139 voices honest, human emotion in a vibrantly beautiful, truthful and poetic way. In this one, the psalmist asked rhetorical questions. He was not expressing a desire to get away from God. Quite the contrary. He was emphasizing that if people who wholeheartedly try to escape God's presence have absolutely no possibility of doing it, it would be even more unlikely for a person who is actively drawing close to God wind up seperated from him.   In other words, God is with you everywhere - whether you want him to be or not. This truth is wonderful news for those who long...
